I recently had the joy of bringing Púróga Pebble Art to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan as part of their Staff Creative Wellbeing Programme, and what an uplifting and heart-warming experience it was.

Amid their busy schedules, staff members took a well-earned pause and stepped into a space filled with calm, creativity, and connection. Using just a few pebbles, natural materials, and plenty of imagination, participants created beautiful and meaningful artwork.

Each piece told its own story. Some sparked laughter, others invited quiet reflection, and all were uniquely personal and creatively expressed.

Pebble art is more than a craft. It is a mindful and grounding practice that encourages us to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore creativity in its most natural form.

It brings me great joy to see people of all backgrounds and experience levels come together, create with intention, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and inspired.

These special workshops were part of the Creativity in Healthcare initiative, generously supported by Creative Ireland, Healthy Meath, and a host of incredible partners. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it happen, especially the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospital, whose warmth and openness made the two workshops truly memorable. https://www.instagram.com/p/DCjX-4Fu4bO/
