I had the privilege of stepping onto the panel at the AI Works for Ireland event at the stunning Peace Campus in Monaghan, hosted by Google and Local Enterprise Office – Monaghan
When asked to join, I wanted to speak honestly about how I use AI for my business. For me, AI isn’t about replacing the art it’s about freeing up the time to create. Every piece I make is completely handmade, but running a business means wearing multiple hats. AI has become my ultimate assistant, helping me brainstorm content and clear my desk of daily admin so I can focus on the hands-on creative work I love.
I know AI can feel incredibly intimidating starting out, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. There are fantastic, accessible supports available right now from Local Enterprise Offices all around the country. As a Meath based business, I have to thank Local Enterprise Office Meath and Caoimhe Delany they are a constant, unwavering support and are so genuinely passionate about helping local businesses thrive and I wouldn’t be at the stage I am at now without them.
Whether you are in Meath, Monaghan, or anywhere else in Ireland, the LEOs offer excellent tailored courses to start your AI journey, covering everything from AI Tools for Business to AI for Social Media and Marketing. If you are a fellow maker or small business owner who has been hesitant, reach out to your local office. It’s not about changing the heart of your business, it’s just about giving yourself an extra pair of hands.
Thank you to Pamela Kerr for making the panel discussion so comfortable and welcoming and the LEO team for inviting me to share my experience, and to everyone who came out to the Peace Campus today, thanks for listening.
