I am thrilled to share a wonderful milestone for the “Waves and Wonders” project. Following our presentation at the Arts in Education Portal Spring Regional Day, teacher Oonagh Gilsenan and I have been informed that our TAP+ residency project will be officially published on the Arts in Edutcation Portal website in the coming weeks as a learning resource for early education teachers and artists.

Our residency at Navan Educate Together N.S. focused on transforming a Senior Infants classroom into an ocean of imagination using simple, natural materials. At the Regional Day, we brought that philosophy to life with a fully interactive, hands on workshop.

Seeing fellow educators and artists step into the children’s shoes structuring step-by-step elements from the Waves and Wonders project creating their own pebble characters was a brilliant reminder of the power of play and creativity in early education.

Thank you to the Arts in Education team for this incredible platform and acknowledgment. You can view our full presentation and project video via the link below
